Learn to Quilt

This sewing workshop is aimed at sewers who wish to learn patchwork quilting.  This is a full day workshop which will take place at our Clifton Moor Studio in York from 10:00AM until 4:00PM.

During this workshop you will learn all there is to know about how to sew up a patchwork block, how to sew up a quilt top, how to baste, freehand quilt and bind your quilt.  

By the end of the day, you will have a small quilt to take home with you. 

To attend this workshop, you will need to have some knowledge of sewing already and should be confident using a sewing machine.  If you are a total novice and wish to learn to sew, you may wish to take one of our beginner sewing courses first or have a private sewing tuition.

For this class you will require: 
All equipment and fabrics will be included in the workshop fee.
