So today, I thought I would share some before & after photos of the fabric shop as I think a lot of people may not quite realise what a transformation the place has gone through. We started with a damp & mouldy broken white box which was structurally unsound before it became what it is today!

We've all been waiting for Boris' announcement this evening, and I'm so pleased to finally have a date for when we can reopen our fabric shop in York!  I cannot wait for my children to return to school and for some normality to resume.  This lockdown has been quite stressful with homeschooling a 5 and 6 year old, and trying to juggle everything for the shop.. but the end is near.  Hopefully everyone can slowly but surely get the vaccination and we can start getting our lives back. I've been desperate to do some sewing, but I just haven't had the time...

Hi Everyone! Hope you're all doing ok in these difficult times... We've been a bit busy at this end! Seeing as our name is 'Sewcialising', I thought I would set up a little Sewing Community Facebook Group for us all to virtually get together & meet and share our sewing projects!  I will be adding little sewing projects & ideas: dressmaking and patchwork projects in the coming weeks.  So anybody who wishes to join and introduce themselves, please feel free to do so..  Everyone's welcome!

Hoorayyy! I can finally announce that there is now a brand new fabric shop in York city centre. I am OVER THE MOON!! It’s been a long long process to get the fabric shop opened as we were due to launch the Sewcialising bricks and mortar shop in April 2020 and then the lockdown was announced due to Covid-19, which was awful for everybody in the world.. and just bad timing for us.
