Waistcoat Gilet Sewing Pattern
A hardworking gilet. Make yours lined or unlined, with facings on the inside or outside. Sizes UK 34 - 54. All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless stated otherwise and are included in the pattern. Skill level; Intermediate. Fabric Suggestions– Dry oilskin, oilskin, linen, 7-12oz denim, wool, corduroy, cotton twills or canvas. For the lining we'd suggest our barrier lining if using an oilskin, otherwise – cotton voile, lightweight linen, cotton poplin, lightweight wool and slip linings. ** Our patterns are now printed within Europe, the pattern paper is 70gsm white (FSC® certified) and is made only 180km away from the printers. Our instructions now come in booklet format rather than A3 sheets. The paper is PEFC/01-31-126certified.
